James Franco dives into gay porn in King Cobra
King Cobra tells the story of two greedy porn producers, a murder and the rise of twink porn star Brent Corrigan. Back in 2007, offended by his paltry paycheck, Brent Corrigan (known as Sean Paul Lockhart off screen) falls out with the owner, director, and producer of the label that made him famous, Cobra video. When the newly minted sex symbol attracts the attentions of a cash-strapped pair of rival producers and performers an all out porn turf war ensues.
Cobra Video producer Bryan Kocis (named “Stephen” in the film and played by Christian Slater), meets his end at the hands of rival producers Joe and Harlow (James Franco and Keegan Allen) when they wanted to buy our rising star Corrigan’s contract.
Also starring Garrett Clayton (Corrigan/Lockhart), Christian Slater, Alicia Silverstone, Molly Ringwald, Keegan Allen. While Lockhart was approached to take on a supporting role in the film (he’s become a mainstream actor of late), but declined and later on criticized the film’s portrayal of his life.
King Cobra is now available for pre-order on iTunes and will be released February 14.
