Do we need a Glee reboot?
That question is rhetorical because the answer is no! Fox’s Entertainment President Michael Thorn was speaking with Deadline about possible reboots and Glee was mentioned.
It’s only been six years since the teen musical-dramedy concluded, and it seems both too soon and a world away. The television landscape has changed vastly, especially with the massive rise of streaming platforms in the intervening years. There’s also the issue of proper representation.
Too many straight actors played gay characters (I’m looking at you Grant! And Darren!). And then there was wheelchair bound x played by fully able Kevin McHale (who… is actually gay).
Can we really put up with even more Journey! No, go reboot some real classic, like Rockford Files.
